I made these for Christmas and everyone said they tasted just like my Grandma's which made me really happy! Loved the citrus flavor from the orange and lemon zest.

I made these for new years eve and received rave reviews. The struffoli is delicious and tastes just like a traditional italian struffoli from a bakery. The honey sauce with lemon really puts them over the top.

This is by far the worst recipe ever! Thay are dense and hard (not crunchy and have no taste. Do not make this it is a waste of time and money. JUST AWFUL!

Mario, my Nana always called this Pinulata...have you ever heard that name?? When I went to Calabria my great aunt Bettina called them the same thing, but she put a fruit jam in with the honey.

Struffoli reminds me of the magical time that I lived in New York. For Christmas I would go to La Bella Ferrara in Little Italy and bring home treats to my family back in the Midwest. This was a favorite and I've never attempted making it until now. I have this thing about never sticking to a recipe so I added some brown sugar and almond extract to the honey coating and I replaced the limoncello in the dough with rum and almond extract and it turned out quite delicious! It's a very easy recipe just a little time consuming rolling the little dough balls. Thank you Mario!

Have had struffolis since I was a little kid...love them around all holidays. This recipe was terrible they need to have butter or some sort of fat to make them not so dry and tasteless. Should have used my mothers recipe. My six yr old said, "Mom don't feel bad but Grandma's are better."

I have seen this on the Christmas shows and have wanted to try it but did not know the name, until I came across this recipe that said at the top, "Honey Drenched Christmas Fritters", and knew that was it!! I love these, and the grandchildren do too! I am not Italian but love the foods and this is going to be another family tradition for us also!
