We watched Mario make this meal on his show and were inspired to make it for our family Christmas eve dinner. That was five years ago and we have made it every year since. Due to time constraints, we have bought tortellini from our local pasta store but other than that we have followed the recipe. Next year we are going to make one small change. We are just going to make the crust for the top of the pie rather than surround all the ingredients in the crust since we have felt overwhelmed by the crust. We look forward to making this meal for many years to come...
