Every time I make it is amazing............ love it each time more... the only pain is cleaning the artichokes but well worth it!!! Thank you Mario

Last minute dinner guests so I had to extend my menu. Didn't have time to rush to the market but did have canned non-marinated artichokes so used them. It was fantastic! I am sure it would be even better, if possible, using the fresh artichokes.

Having just returned from Rome and marvelled at how they coat the pasta with flavour, not just a dollop of sauce I just followed the recipe but did not rinse the penne before tossing. Come out great!! has become a staple in our house.

It would be nice since this recipe is listed as easy if a hint on artichoke cleaning technique were listed. How thinly sliced? A little too vague.

This meal is really not as difficult as it looks. One may be afraid to attempt to prepare the artichokes, but once you get past this, the meal is really quite simple to make. Best of all, it is really quite delicious!
