Lovely and easy. Got rave reviews from fennel-averse hubby and pork-hating kids. I served this with the dish from the show that is not noted on the website: slow sauteed fennel in olive oil with fresh oj until it slowly carmelizes. Superb. Too bad he didn't include this in the recipes as it really made the pork outstanding!

a last minute dinner for weeknight or company, this dish was loved by all in my family including 2 kids (8 & 11. I used only dried fennel seed and did not add any fennel to the sauce at the last step.
    DELICIOUS!

Having just returned from a recent trip to Italy, I was fascinated by the use of fennel with pork and suckling pig. This recipe did not disappoint. A great second plate!

Title summarizes it all. Not having nice fresh fennel, I used only 2 chops but a tablespoon of ground fennel seed. Also 3 crushed garlic. No, no powerful fennel or garlic flavor; just good stuff. You should use fresh chops for the best result.

I used regular spicy sausage and this recipe was still great.
