Substitute chicken in this recipe. It is great! Simple and wonderfully tasty and fragrant.

I did make this with rabbit and it was nothing great. I could sorta of taste the red wine in the meat. But....the flavor of the white wine never came thru in the sauce. I probably would not make this recipe again. I feel there is probably a much better recipe out there for rabbit.

My husband remembered seeing this dish on tv and wanted to try it. I made this with four chicken leg quarters (pseudo rabbit and did not make any other changes-- served this over egg noodles and it tasted great. The dish is very fragrant and smells incredibly good while cooking.
