    This is a favorite childhood memory but my dad always used this in potato soup, lots of pepper, lot of cheese. Gonna go make it now.

    This is one excellent, excellent soup. The flavor is delicious, and the texture is wonderful. It comes out creamy in consistency but without any of the heaviness that comes with a true cream-based soup. Definitely a dish I'll be making again!
