When we were in Atlantic City in June we visited this restaurant (as well as a few others from the show and we loved it, we were however disappointed that they didn't have a picture of Guy hanging that we could take our picture with ! Our lunch was great, and well worth the 2 hour drive from our hotel, we will be back when we visit Atlantic City again !

Yuck! I've been to Maui's twice and both times they were terrible. Never again.

This recipe is one of the best examples of what a creative chef can do with superior ingredients. The dog is perfection from the grill, the baby spinach sauted with garlic is out of this world but the real topper is the cheese. Just the right combo to make one want to skip dinner and have lunch twice. I have eaten my way from the top to the bottom of Maui's menu and other favorites are the Shrimp PoBoy and the Drunk Sloppy Shawn, sans the ketchup. The Chef, Maui, and his wife Liz are a treat and if you want sarcasm and a laugh, ask them what's good on the menu. I ride the bike almost two hours, each way to eat there. Hot dogs don't get any better than Maui's and I have been to Rutt's Hut all the way to Pink's on the west coast and down to Atlanta and eaten at the Varsity Club, and these are the best.

It is truly an HONOR to be the first to review this recipe. My family and I have been Maui fans since they opened. Every time we are in Wildwood, every chance we get. The Soprano is one of my usuals, and I always pair it with another one of their creations. You won't find better dogs or more fun people anywhere. They are so cool and their food is so good, we drove 3 hours just to attend their 10th anniversary party and savor the dogs. You can't go wrong with any of their creations....dang am I getting hungry..... Hey Maui, how about mail order.....

All the best - Target and family
