The texture and consistency came together nicely and easily, but the flavor was absolutely awful! It tasted like spicy stale olive oil; which is was a waste of. I love olive oil and use it all the time, but I think would use a different oil next because this just had a very foul after taste.

I didn't mind the taste couldn't get it to set. I even added the egg white in a last ditch attempt to get it to set up. It would be nice if I could find some answers here for why that might have happened. I drizzled the oil as slowly as I could. Used immersion blender.

First time I made my own mayonnaise and it is so unbelievably easy especially if you use an emersion blender with power as it literally took only 1 minute (if that to thicken. You can make it in the container you want to keep it in as long as it has a wide mouth for the blender to fit in so you save time in cleanup. I used a chipotle mustard so cut the cayenne pepper to half to be safe as it is easier to add than to subtract. Store bought? I don't think so!!!!!

Extremely easy and the cayenne pepper gives just the right zing to it. So much better than the substandard mayonnaise put out by Kraft and Hellman's

My dad likes the extra virgin olive oil flavor but he is the only one. Everyone else LOVES this mayo recipe when I use the light olive oil, plus it's really good for you!

The olive oil gave it an off taste.
