SUPER dish, Sherri Parr. I used all these suggestions, from Wagster, Celeste and MaryM, and my son-in-law ate this by the brick-sized slice. I made only half the ketchup, with two chopped canned chipotles and a half-tsp of molasses with a quarter-cup of dark brown sugar, and he hopes it's around for fries, hamburgers — and what remains of the meatloaf. Even my wife, not particularly the lover of the smoky or the spicy, said this dish is to die for.

I was looking for a recipe for a real meatloaf sandwich, not a recipe for meatloaf (and sauce, stuck between two slices of plain wheat bread. I'm sure the meatloaf itself is fine, but the title is misleading, and doesn't deliver what's being advertised.

For a meatloaf sandwich, it was good. However, I'm not sure if I will make it again. The sauce was really good but a little too sweet. The recipe calls for 3/4 cup brown sugar. I think that 1/2 cup probably would have made it just right. I also thought that some homemade crispy fried onions on the sandwich might finish it off a little better. The recipe was good but not great.

Only made the Chipotle Ketchup so far and it is very spicy. Only simmered for 1/2 hour as it seemed pretty thick from the beginning. Going to buy a chipotle ketchup to compare the taste. It makes a lot but only those that like spicy food will enjoy. We do so OK here.

This is the best meatloaf ever! Super moist and great flavor. The ketchup is fantastic as well. I used Rye bread crumbs like on the show. Will make this again!

Great sandwich! We use ground bison instead of chuck and grilled italian bread. It was delicious!
