This was so absolutely deliciously amazing lol! Ok, so I thought it would be yummy with some rum in the coffee....HELLO! so so good, you must try. We weren't able to put the cinnamon in the coffee while it was being made, so we just sprinkled it on top and then put the chocolate on. It tasted like liquid tiramisu! So so delicious. MMMMMMMMM!

Oh so easy, but oh so good! Have tried most of her recipes and they have all be very easy and good. Now I wonder how I can get the recipe for her"Cream cheese butter " pastry dessert she made on episode 8 (Julie/Julia.

Growing up Mom was very creative with her family menu's. There wasn't much extra money for deserts., however this was my father's favorite. This recipe is from my Spanish roots Didn't realize 40 years later this treat would become so hip..

I love this---so easy and I always have the ingredients on hand......my cost PER SERVING is about 62 cents. It's funny how people are not getting the premise of the show. The cost per meal is 10 dollars . 10 dollars is not the cost to buy all the ingredients. Melissa mentions she gets things on sale. A lot of things that Melissa uses would be pantry staples. Buying the fresh ingredients on sale does help. Example---- If you have Parmesan in the fridge and the recipe calls for say---1/4 c of Parmesan and you paid 4 dollars for the parm.then the cost for the parm for that meal is 1 dollar. I don't think she is counting the pantry staples in the cost---and why would she. I think the show is terrific and her recipes are very cost effective. Just wait until the protein she uses for a recipe goes on sale and then it will cost less to make. Or better yet, buy different proteins as they are on sale and freeze them and then you are all set. I load up when there are great deals on pork, beef, shrimp, chicken etc.....Keep up the good work Melissa and keep those 10 dollar dinners coming!

I actually think that the cost on this recipe may be close to what you claimed it was...if you use cheap ice cream and store-brand coffee. Very simple and tasty as long as you don't give the coffee time to melt the ice cream too much.

I wish the costs on other recipes were more honest. If you weren't harping on how cheap everything was, it wouldn't be such a big deal, but I've watched every episode so far, and this is the very first recipe that could cost what you claim it does in the real world. Maybe for season two call it 20 Dollar Dinners and be honest about things instead? I really am glad you won the contest, by the way.

Love the recipes. Love your show, different than most of the others on. Real down to earth and easy to follow recipes. Hope to see more of you and your recipes.
