Great taste, terrible presentation. The sliders fell apart completely! need something to bind these next time as they were tasty and cheap to make.

The sliders were great. I changed the recipe a lot. I used .66 pounds of ground beef, about 10 minced white mushrooms, 3 tablespoons of worcestershire sauce and the whole can of beans. I forgot to use the mustard, but it's ok. I ended up with 16 patties, and I served them with bbq sauce, bacon and crispy fried onions. My husband loved them and I love how much fiber they have. The worcestershire gave them a great great flavor! These will be a weekly meal!

Made these and cooked them on an outside grill which added a lot of flavor. I will make them again!

Gave this recipe another go, cause my son liked these. This time I cooked on my panini grill and the burgers came out great all in one piece and just 3 minutes....Thanks Melissa

Really great stuff!!! I cooked these for 5 guys, and they all loved them! The Dijon smeared on before grilling really adds a great crusting to the burgers. Fantastic! And they are even better with the grilled coleslaw on top!

My husband and I did not enjoy these burgers. The beans add an odd, almost gritty texture. They do not add any flavor which surprised me greatly. Plus, I used .94 lb instead of .5 lb of ground beef, and I still ended up with 8 burgers.
The coleslaw was okay. The dressing did not completely cover my cabbage so I had to make more. I also added a drop of vinegar which gave it a nice acidic taste in the background of the dressing.
Overall, I expected much more from this menu. I am greatly disappointed.

Flavour was great, but unfortunately, I should have read all the reviews and added the egg b/c they fell apart on the grill! But definitely yummy!

Made this yesterday for my family and even the men loved it and didn't even comment on the fact they were made with beans. Thanks Melissa. I look forward to your next season and some of YOUR recipes that may cost a bit more. I'm still waiting for your cookbooks - I copy all your recipes but I know you have many more that are over $10.

I like the idea of recipequeentonight_10277295’s suggestion of using an egg white to bind the sliders.

We always add beans to our taco beef filling which really adds flavor. Ground beef and beans is a good combination in almost any configuration.

I also urge Melissa and Food Network to dump the $10 limit on her meals. Grocery prices are skyrocketing. Perhaps she could have a single segment on a re-named show that would feature a cheap, but good meal.
