Hummus is so easy to make! I used the whole can of black beans and I served it with flatbread and Stacy's multigrain pita chips. This is a great party or potluck dish. Next time I may try to add a little spice with 1/2 a jalapeno. Should be tasty with the black beans!

I did not like it. I tried to but it just wasn't my taste. The vinegar made it taste like it had sour cream which I liked but the garlic was still quite overpowering even with such a little amount, which I admit was my fault. There was no real flavor beyond the garlic. It was easy but I wouldn't be making it again.

This hummus is so easy to make and I always have the ingredients on hand. It has become my go to for a quick appetizer when company stops by. This week I had some left over (only because I made a double batch, I mixed in an egg and some oatmeal, fried it in a little olive oil and it made the BEST veggie burger. And no I am not a vegetarian. Double batches from now on. (P.S., use more lemon instead of the vinegar.

So easy, healthy, cheap, and yummy. A great way to use up leftover black beans (I never seem to finish a whole can by myself. The only thing I did differently was add a generous pinch of cayenne pepper to give it some heat. Delicious with multi grain tortilla chips or veggies or pita!!! Super addictive.

This recipe would be better, in my opinion, without the white wine vinegar. It gives it a bite that is too different for my taste. I will make it again and leave the vinegar out.

Took this to an evening meeting of a women's group and it got great comments. I followed the recipe exactly but added pita pieces to the lettuce cups as option. I saved some to use as sandwich spread with lettuce, tomato, red onion and avocado.

I love any recipe with black beans, I always cook mine from scratch and have them on hand, fresh, or in my freezer. this was very good, the next time I will cut the lemon juice back a little, but otherwise this was a keeper, better the next day as most recipes are. P.S. melissa you have my dream kitchen!! thanks for the great recipe idea.
