These are perfect! I added some milk and cheese to make a creamy sauce with the butter and some parsley and basil. Perfect comfort food.

Loved making these potatoes. My guests always love them, seems they don't make them at home. Sometimes it's a great reminder to cooks to include a simple yet delicious idea on how to serve potatoes. Thanks Melissa.

I am involved in a small group ministry that feeds hot meal to families of intensive care patients at a local hospital on the 2nd Saturday of each month. We normally feed about 50 people so I decided to make these potatoes as a side dish for baked chicken. The ingredients were minimal making it budget friendly but the end result was fantastic. Everyone loved them and some asked for the recipe! This is definitely a dish I will not only make for our hospital ministry but also one I will be adding to my list of favorite dishes to prepare at home.

These worked out very well. Smash them in with the gravy from the pot roast.....mmmmm. I think I'll try the bouillon and spice tricks tonight to add even more flavor. Thanks!!

Instead of salting the water I used chicken bouillon cubes just to add another layer of flavor. Tossed them in butter, chopped parsley, salt and pepper. Tasted like slow-braised new potatoes that had been cooking all day. This is now a go-to.

Saw the recipe today and made it tonight for dinner. Everyone loved it. Can't believe I've been cooking all these years and never made potatoes this simple way. My whole famliy liked them, from teenagers down to my 3 year old.

This is a favorite way to quickly serve potatoes. Change the herb -- to dill or hot pepper flakes, for example -- to accompany so many different dishes.
