This was a surprisingly delicious and easy to make salad. Had steak and baked potatoes for supper. Needed a salad but didn't have any regular ingredients for salad. Came here with ingredients I did have and the family loved the results. Thankyou!!

My family really loves this recipe. My daughter does not like cooked broccoli so this recipe if perfect for her. The first time I made it I did not have bacon so I left that out. I don't like raw onion so I left that out. Even though I left out two ingredients the dressing is so full of flavor it doesn't need the extras. The second time I made this I used just broccoli. I can see how versatile this dressing can be. I plan on using whatever veggies I have on hand; carrots, peppers, celery. I'm always looking for new veggie side dishes and this one is perfect.

Very good. I added craisins, sliced roasted almonds and cooked shrimp with bay seasoning and served it on a bed of spring salad mix. I will double the dressing the next time I make it.

I love how refreshing this salad is, and its versatility. You can add/leave out veggies as you have them available, and the dressing can be used on just about anything. This is a great addition to anyone's recipe collection!

Thank you Melissa for yet another Marvelous recipe! I wanted a new way to eat broccoli and cauliflower and found it here. Especially on hot summer days. This is so refreshing I didn't have red onions so I used white onions and it was still fabulous. My kids love love love the dressing and everything about it as did I. This went superb with the chicken and biscuits. Thank you for all of your creative recipes. Keep them coming.

Terrific, thanks! Summertime. . . and wanting to do something with broccoli/cauliflower for a change of pace from my usual go 'round of summer salad(s. . .found this recipe and thought I'd try it. Wow, the dressing! Did I mention the dressing? Plus, I can see/taste where this dressing could be so versatile with other ingredients; cooked chicken, pasta shells, bell pepper, onion, celery etc . . . quick, easy, and refreshing summertime lunch/meal to have on hand that would keep well in the refrigerator and/or pack and take to work or a picnic. Thanks Melissa!

WOW! The best part of this is the dressing. Can't wait to try it on coleslaw.
Now to get out the slide rule to double and triple it.
I did try to get creative and roast the broccoli and cauliflower on the grill. It
was good but will try raw next time. Thanks, Melissa
