    Just made this tonight and LOVED it! This was the first time my husband and I have had cornbread and we will definitely have this again. I made it with the maple lime butter and it was delicious. Great compliment for the spicy huevos rancheros.

    Thanks for a great recipe. My kids and I love corn bread and this was so yummy and moist. I love real maple syrup, so I was excited to add it in the batter.

    I did not make the lime butter. Instead I served the cornbread with softened margarine and jam. I thought the cornbread was very tasty but gave four stars out of five as I thought the cornbread did not have a strong enough corn flavor, next time I will try to use one cup cornmeal to 3/4 cup flour and so forth.

    I really like the addition of brown sugar, maple syrup and applesauce to the cornbread, it gave the bread a nice moist texture which I have been searching for and finally found in a recipe.

    BEST corn bread ever! More often than not I'm disappointed in corn bread because it's too grainy and dry. This was moist and slightly sweet with a finer texture than most I've tried. I used dark brown sugar since I didn't have light brown sugar, and don't think it made a difference. Delicious!

    Good, but not great. Easy enough to make, baked well, I felt it didn't have a lot of flavor. I did like the lime butter though.

    I tried this recipe today to go with my bean soup and totally didn't care for the taste..I may try it again and not ad the flour..There was no cornbread taste at all for me.

    This was easy and delicious. I loved the butter with the cornbread and my husband says it's a winner too! Melissa does it again!

    This is an amazing recipe! Loved each bit and so did everyone else that tried it. Made it exactly to the recipe - it's moist not crumbly like normal cornbread and had just a hint of maple. Not to sweet either. I will make this often.

    My cornbread is always dry and needs loads of butter and syrup to make is edible. NOW I have a recipe that is perfect. My family loved it and I have printed it to use again SOON! When are you going to give us what we want - A TEN DOLLAR DINNER COOKBOOK!!!!!

    Melissa. My god. I saw you make this while I was working out at the gym this morning and knew I would have to give it a try tonight. Honestly ... the BEST cornbread I have ever had! And the Maple Lime Butter was PERFECT with it. I see this being my new cornbread recipe ... looking forward to sharing it with others. : Thank you.
