The soy was a nice touch but I backed off a little Balsamic Vinegar a hair to help the soy come through. Just the right amount of salt and pepper is needed to meld everything together or this kinda tastes oily to me. All in all easy, quick and delicious, keep em coming!

Can't wait to try out your potato torte.

I was enjoying your first show when a thunder storm interrupted just when you were about to tell of the vinagerette dressing so I went to the internet. I prepared it for my dinner and used it on a tomatoe, mozzerella and fresh basil salad. It is wonderful, try it. Bringing your experience from France was so wonderful to me. In the early 1960 I was Air Force, stationed in England when my bride and I were transferred to Turkey, we drove all through Europe to get there using "Europe on $5.00 a Day" as our guide. Please don't think of your show as only for women, here is one old guy who loves to cook and to whom youu have brought back some beautiful memories.

    Please keep it up,

My husband and I are so happy you were chosen to be the next network star. We don't cook but love to watch cooking shows. You are going to do well! Was wondering if the show is set in your own kitchen? Very warm and fun! Good luck and whatever you are cooking who cares if it's called lunch or dinner!!!

I love that this dressing is made with ingredients we always keep in the house! So good, so simple- tastes even better as the dressing soaks into the greens. My husband wants me to make a whole jar now!

Congratulations on your new show. I think you are doing a wonderful job. I made the viniagrette tonight and it was very delicious and my entire family loved it. I will be making some of your other dishes in the near future.

Keep doing what you are doing and ignore the "bitter" people on here. There's always going to be a few. There are more positive people saying nice things to you anyway.

Congrats again and keep up the good work!

Made the salad dressing and the family loved it. My son called it the best dressing he has ever had. Thanks for the secret ingredient.

I tried the dressing from memory. It was delicious! Now that I have the exace measurements, it will be even better. I'm so glad you won--you were by far the best one on the show. Keep up the good work. I also think the show name is a dis-service to you. The FN surely can come up with a better name.

I made the granita which was unsweetened applesauce and a squeeze of lemon juice put into a shallow glass dish and put into freezer. I checked mine after about an hour or so and let ot go for about another 45 min.

For the yogurt sauce I used vanilla yogurt, about a 6 oz container, 1 tablespoon maple syrup and about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon per Melissa's recipe. (For mine I also added a touch of clove and a touch of nutmeg.

It was so good. Very refreshing.
