Finally, the Melissa that we knew and loved backstage during the competition! If that "secret ingredient" in your salad dressing is an indication of what's to come, I won't want to miss an episode. And what fun to know where you got it!
Loved your premier performance--as the "be-yourself" Melissa. Keep up the fine work. You're a pleasure to watch. The recipes are a bonus, and that dressing is delicious.

Melissa, You were a joy to watch, and I too was touched when you carved the "C" in your torte. She'd be very proud of where you have gotten to.
For those asking about the granita, it was applesauce and a squeeze of lemon, then freeze for a while. For the topping, Melissa used yogurt, a little real maple syrup, and some cinnamon.
I made the salad w/our lunch today...the soy was very good!

Really liked your first show, Melissa. Thought you did a great job and the food looked very appetizing. Only have one small suggestion for you....you kept repeating a few phrases such as...."there we go"......"alright." It gets distracting and takes away from you. It may have been nerves since it was your first show. Hope you have wonderful success.

Great first show! I'm usually so intimidated by pastry, but Melissa made it look so easy. I'm definitely going to try my hand at it after this. I also can't wait to try the salad dressing AND the dessert - sounds SO refreshing, especially since I'm pregnant...

I was watching this episode and you had a dessert also. It had a maple flavor topping and was a substitute for ice cream. This wasn't listed as other recepes. can you e-mail it to me?

All the recipes look delicious and I will definitely be trying the recipes and watching for more--adding that "Parisian" touch makes it even more interesting for those of us that have not visited Paris--Good luck

certainly not disappointed! It is delicious.... and I plan
