These were crazy-good! My kids (who will eat almost nothing gobbled them up! I have to admit, every recipe by Ms. D'Arabian has turned out really well. I will keep trying her recipes. Delicious.

I modified this recipe to make as bite size appetizers by using (rolled to thin Crescent dough sheets cut into 2x2 squares and mini muffin tins. To fit, I slice up Grape tomatoes and an apple corer makes nice little mozzarella rounds . The crescent makes a sweeter crust and the Red and Green make a Festive Christmas appetizer

I'm not one of D'Arabian's biggest fans, but I have to give credit where it is due. THIS RECIPE IS WONDERFUL! I made these for a holiday party that I had this afternoon. It was my first time making them, but I needed one more dish to make my table look a little better and I figured that the red of the tomato and the green from the fresh basil was christmasy- plus I had all of the ingredients on hand. EVERYONE loved them! One of my friends asked me if I had made any more. I only made 12, because I figured I would have leftovers, but they were all gone within 20minutes of the start of the party. I feel bad for underestimating the creator of the recipe and highly recommend it to those who want to add another "finger food" recipe to their repertoire. This recipe will most definitely grace the table of my next party :

Easy and fun to make. I did not remove them all from the muffin tin at the same time and the last ones removed were soggy on the bottom.
Will make these again and again.

What a great idea for a crust? One could use whole grain bread for added fiber as well. I agree with mdm427, I enjoy Melissa's many tips and look forward to watching many more of her shows!

Yum! So easy and quick. Never would've thought to make regular sliced store bought bread into tartlet shells. Great creative use of a kitchen staple-- Made it for a fast lunch after seeing this episode and it was definitely much better than using that same bread to make another boring sandwich! Unfortunately, the only ingredient I didn't have was the mozzarella, so I just added a little extra cream cheese mixture. It still tasted great, but I'll definitely make again when I have all the right components. I've only seen two episodes of Melissa's show but I'm quickly becoming a fan!

First of all I'm not the cook, my wife is. She comes on this sight alot and I thought I would give my feed back as to how the Husband liked it.
The Caprese Tartlets were great. I had to have at least 4 or more but the kids beat me to the rest.
But what is neat with these cups is she can change it up a bit. She has found that you can put just about anything in these cups.
For breakfast she was trying to think of something and wha-la, add eggs, bacon and other things. She did basically a Quiche.
My review? 5 stars.
So looking to fix something for the Husband? It will be a sure Touchdown.
