I made these for the first time last night and I must say they were a huge hit in my family. I should have doubled or tripled the recipe because we devoured them as soon as they hit the table. This will definitely be a regular side dish in our house. I'm excited to try making them for parties as well.

I made these for my sister's wedding reception. They were a real hit. I generally don't like tomatoes but with this recipe they were wonderful. I added a little extra cream cheese mixture to each tarlet. I feel the Ten Dollar Dinner theme sometimes doesn't allow Melissa to shine as the great cook she is, thanks Melissa for this recipe, Wow!

Melissa D' Arabian did it again. This is an amazing appetizer!!! I had extra buns, mozzarella, and basil left over from a party and just had to make this recipe. I wish I would have thought of this and made it for the party... Oh well. Everything I have made from Melissa's recipe collection has been absolutely incredible; this recipe was no exception. It tasted absolutely delicious and highlighted great, simple ingredients. I am in love with Ten Dollar Dinners and can't wait for more recipes.
Thank you so much for sharing and please keep them coming :

I've made these three times so far and they are a big hit! I am not allowed to go anyway without bringing them. I followed the recipe exactly. I may chop the tomatoes next time to make it even easier to eat. Great Job Melis! Was a fan from day 1

I don't know if I broke the ten dollar rule since I didn't cost it out, but I used light Skinny Cow garlic and herb wedges in place of the cream cheese mixture since that's what I had on hand. Delicious!

Saw Melissa on Saturday at the Food and Wine Festival and was lucky enough to try one of her tartlets. They were absolutely amazing!!! We went to dinner afterwards and I swear everything else I ate that night tasted terrible in comparison : Can't wait to make them myself!

My family and friends loved these. The tartlets were so easy to make. I opted to chop the tomatoes so they were easier to eat and I only had fresh basil not dried. Excellent recipe and they look like you spent hours making them.
