This was great. I used breast because that was what I had on hand. But I didn't follow the directions exactly because I didn't realize it had to go into the oven. Instead I cooked it on the stove top and I used about 2 tablespoons of tomato paste in place of the tomato because I didn't have a tomato on hand. It had great flavor and the mustard was not overpowering. Will make again.

This is really fabulous! It's one of my top favs from Food Network, for sure. It is rich, flavorful, and filling. I am 100% glad I opted to add the full amount of mustard. Yes, the final product has a distinct mustard flavor, but in no way is it too much. I would have been disappointed, I think, if I'd reduced it. My family raved about this, and leftovers the next day might be even better than the dinner itself, if that's possible. I highly recommend this, and I'll be making this regularly myself.

Probably one of the best Food Network recipes I've ever made, and definitely the one I keep making again and again. Definitely the best dish using chicken thighs. And the noodles? AMAZING!!

This was one of the best chicken recipes I've tried. I substituted boneless chicken breast for thighs, and the recipe worked perfectly. The noodles were also exceptional. Melissa's recipes are becoming my go - to's. thanks

Addendum to previous: I cooked the leeks and the noodles Melissa suggested on tv. These were great also. Melissa is definitely someone I'll look to for recipes from now on.

This was very good. The whole family loved it. I used 9 chicken thighs for my family and still had plenty of sauce. I also substituted cooking wine since I had no white wine on hand. Delicious!

My only regret is that I cannot give this 10 stars !!! You are a Rock Star Melissa - this was delicious. My husband LOVED IT and said it was the BEST!! Cannot understand those who said it was too mustardy... it was PERFECT! I mixed the 1/4 cup mustard with CREMA (Mex.sour cream and that alone could be spread on bread!! The noodles were perfect with this delicious chicken and mushrooms. I used fresh Basil (no Tarragon. LOVE YOUR SHOW - THANK YOU FOR YOUR RECIPES.
