I loved this recipe and my picky teenage kids took a second helpings . I made a mistake and put the mustard right before braising, and I had no sour cream so I substituted milk and butter at the end, and I used herbes de provence for the tarragon. It came out great in spite of my mishaps. But I thought it took longer to cook than indicated and the family agreed that it should have had more mushrooms and garlic than listed. This is a keeper. Thanks Melissa.

Delicious!!! I made it for a second time and got rave reviews. I'm not wild for tarragon, so I substituted with oregeno instead. The noodles are delicious and really round out the dish. This is a fast family fav!

WOW! this was yummy. Two guests for dinner, and boy, did I get raves and thank yous. Will surely make again. I agree you could just use plain noodles, the chicken and sauce being so fabulous, but hey, the noodles were extroidinary as well. Thanks Melissa!

An absolutely yummy dish! I followed the recipe exactly; and is a basic hit with my family. Next time, I will add a little less of the dijon mustard than the recipe calls for; and it will be perfect. Thanks Melissa for sharing!

Yum! I used a few substitutions since I didn't have everything on hand. I made this with boneless chicken breasts (cut in half so they were the size of a thigh. I discovered that I did not have dried tarragon so I substituted half oregano and half thyme. My husband does not care for dijon mustard so I only put half of it in the recipe. He loved it! I might increase the dijon next time to see what he thinks. I did end up cooking it for 20 minutes longer than the recipe calls for (hubby was late coming home but that just made it more tender. Definitely cook it for a long time if you are going to use chicken breasts so they fall apart easily. This recipe is a keeper!

This was a huge hit with my family. They were very impressed! It did take a bit longer than I would have liked, but well worth it. I am, however, not sure that it was necessary to have added any ingredients to the noodles prior to serving it w the chicken.

Made it for the second time. It's very good and smells fantastic while cooking. It takes quite a while to cook but braising really does make the chicken fall off the bone. I used a little less mustard (as others recommendedbut it's a personal taste. Do whatever pleases your pallate!

Delicious!! My family loved it, even my husband who was certain he would not like it. It was easy to make, inexpensive and almost elegant. Great dish Melissa!

This recipe is amazing! I prepared tonight and my family devoured the dish. I followed the recipe to the T and I found the amount of mustard just right not overpowering like some reviewers suggest. I used deboned chicken thighs because it was on sale and it still turned out moist, tender, and incredibly delicios. Melissa, thanks for a wonderful recipe!
