I am a long-time fan of Melissa and I have made many of her recipes but I think that Chicken in Mustard is one of her very best!! The flavor is amazingly rich and delicious. I really wanted to lick the plate to get every last bit of the sauce. I made the leek salad and the buttered noodles and they were the perfect accompaniments. If I could give this recipe ten stars, I would.

I made the entire meal and then found out I did not have a Dutch Oven, SO, I made everything up in the pan then transferred over to my crockpot and cooked for 4hrs. IT WAS FANTASTIC!!!! My husband and kids loved the meal, especially with the buttered noodles.

Delicious! My picky husband and kids loved it. They especially loved the sauce. I'll definitely make it a regular dinner.

I forgot the Taragon but it was still wonderful. Will try recuding the mustard a bit next time and may attempt in the crockpot for a busy weeknight meal. Would definitely make again!

I made this for some company, and they loved it. It had loads of flavor. I did use chicken breasts, and thyme. I didn't have a dutch oven, so I browned the chicken and made the sauce in a iron skillet on the stove top. I then put it into a casserole dish for braising in the oven. Works well. It was wonderful! Thanks

This is a pretty decent recipe with the exception that I thought the amount of mustard was a slight overkill. Next time I make it, I'll cut down on the mustard. My husband loved it though and thought it tasted better the next day. I used boneless, skinless thighs as that is what I had and it turned out extremely tender.

This chicken dish was absolutely delicious. We used spoons to get every last drop of the sauce off of the plates. Cannot wait to serve to company.
Thanks again for another winner.
