This was so easy and delicious it could be dangerous. I always have these ingredients in my house, and as my husband and I ate them we imagined all the variations....apple pie filling, Brie and fig jam, pizza, broccoli and cheese and on and on. So good!

These are amazing, and I typically don't even like chicken pot pie. My husband ate 3 of them and my two-year old, who doesn't usually like meat or veggies, wolfed them down as well. Even if they don't look perfect going into the oven, they turn out great. I haven't had a recipe from Melissa that has failed yet!

I thought this recipe was great. I did add a little more flour b/c it was kinda soupy still, and I had fresh thyme on hand so I used that instead. It was so good! I didn't have any issues with a soggy crust, perhaps that person had their liquid to soupy. Anyway nice flavor, and a yummy crispy crust. Very good. The only bad thing was, was my family wanted more, but I only made 4. Whoops.

I love this turnovers wen I was little my mom just to make something similar
I had no problem with them it could be that some of the people that made the
turnovers did not wait for the wine to evaporate a little keep the goodness coming

I had really high expectations for this meal, but we were not really impressed. This recipe took much longer to prepare than I expected, and the puff pastry was kind of soggy on the bottom. It tasted more like a giant egg roll than it did a turnover.

These were great! I was able to freeze half for a later meal which was just as good as the first time out.

Like the other reviews, i only used 1/2 tsp dried thyme and it came out really great. I also used more than 1 tbsp flour bc my mixture was still too wet to go onto the puff pastry. I ended up using about 3-4 tbsp flour to really tighten up the mixture. Other than that, i like the dish bc it's very creative.

Thank you for this recipe. It is great! I love your recipes. The thyme did not bother me. Everything was great. Five stars!

I've made these a couple times now and they freeze really well, and have used both chicken and turkey. It's what's for dinner tonight at my house!
