Dish was amazing as far as flavor goes. The rice and black beans had wonderful flavor. The peppers were very hard to work with if they sat under the broiler any longer than when the skin first starts to bubble. Mine tore apart and I had to use toothpicks to hold them together. My fiance is a chef and is not fond of Chiles, I was not aware of this before I made them, and he said they were the best he has ever had and would love for me to make it again. We will see. This was a very time consuming recipe and trying to make all of the dishes at once was quite difficult to do.

My daughter is on bed rest in the hospital with her pregnancy and saw this today while her and I were visiting. So thought I must make the whole meal such as you did today on the show. I cook all the time and consider myself an advanced cook. So with that being said, will say the entire meal was good but I will never make it again. For the the time of preparing the meal, to all the different dishes required to make the meal, I can say I do not think it was worth it. I am big on all my items being "hot" when I plate them to serve. This was difficult with the rice, the beans, and the chiles rellenos. Another note -- I can not see a mom with kiddos running around the house trying to do this on a weeknight Select something else, I would recommend. The rice was good but felt the black beans were average.

Pretty good recipe. I like having the sauce on the bottom so the chili doesn't get soggy. Be careful if using the broiler not to overcook the chilies, this will make it difficult to work with them later. Next time I will transfer the beaten egg whites to a taller vessel to make it easier to coat the chilies.
