I made this for my husband for Father's Day Brunch. He said I hit this one out of the park!! We will definitely have this again!!!

I HATE french toast with a passion, however, Melissa has hardly ever let me down with her recipes so I had to try this. This turned out to be delicious and nothing like traditional French Toast. I loved the flavor and texture. This will definitely be made again!

This was a little too much chocolate flavor for me. My kids didn't really like it either. I didn't let it rest in the refrigerator but I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

I have done many recipies over the years off this site. and have never felt i needed to comment...but then....i watched the show...was impressed with the ease and look...i tried it...i tried it ...and i tried it again...all with in 3 days...and so did my entire family...(the 3rd batch was for me and it was worth the wait!! this is an amazing dish and soooo tasty..everyone thought that i had catered breakfast...Thankyou for loving food and sharing! you make me feel like even everyday people like me can co amazing things with in a budget!! thankyou

I only had whole wheat bread on hand and I didn't want to buy white bread just for this recipe and it turned out delicious just the same! I also didn't wait 2 hours for it to set/soak and just baked it straight away, making sure each bread had soaked up as much as it could. Served it for breakfast with the roasted cheesy broccoli with parmesan also by Melssa d' Arabian from another episode. A healthy and yummy breakfast! Give it a try!
