This recipe is quite good. If you don't have orange marmalade use strawberry jam or whatever you have in the fridge. Most people have half used jars of jelly in the fridge. 4 people 10 dollars is really the concept. If you buy in bulk and divide into smaller portions OR buy the special product with a coupon and at a store that doubles coupons then this concept will work. If you are going to the store and buying at full price this concept will not work. I do a meal plan for the week based on what is on sale at the grocery store or what I bought at Sams or Costco.

Melissa is every young, hardworking mom in America and I love watching her and really do appreciate what she "brings to the table." Love this dessert as it is easy, yummy, pretty and affordable.

I feel that you should be able to complain if any part of the recipe is not sitting well with you. I would love this as I love every ingredient in it...

I also agree that we need to use the serving price, and not the price of the entire ingredient. If you use a couple of tablespoons, and chuck the rest in the trash, then you can count the total price of the ingredient. Also, we can shop around for better prices - I just bought a jar of Orange Marmalade for less than $2. At least Melissa's food looks substantial enough for 4 people, not like Sandra Lee who cooks one potato as a side dish for 8 people, and has leftovers. Unlike her, Melissa doesn't seem to divide her food between so many people in order to drive her price down. I love her and her dishes, and will take boring over lies any day.

Loved this, I had never tried orange marmalade before but I loved it!!! I have made this recipe several times so far and have even done some of my own combos. One of my favorites was I used strawberry and chocolate using strawberry preserves in the yogurt and cocoa powder in the whip cream...yum!

First of all, RATE the RECIPE not the COST....this is a recipe rating system not a BLOG for complainers. The recipe itself is unique use of some normal ingredients and is refreshing. Obviously, there are regional differences in food prices but not as much as you think. And, didn't you ever learn how to do price per PORTION not the PRICE of the who ingredient. For example, the recipe calls for 3 Tbsp of Orange Marmalade not the whole purchase price of the jar. There are about 17 Servings in the 12 oz. jar according to Smuckers specs. A $2.79 jar means the 3 Tbsp = $0.49 for the recipe. If you don't have these ingredients on hand, then of course you have to buy the whole jar but that should not be attributed to the cost of the recipe. You'll just need to find another use for the remainder. That's the creative joy of cooking.....at least for some of us.

I LOVE this recipe. I have SUCH a sweet tooth and am always looking for low fat, healthy treats to have. I love how the yogurt is incorporated into this dish. I'm not a big dairy fan, but this dish is DELISH! I love how it can be made for dessert, breakfast or as a low fat snack. Great idea Melissa!!!

First off let me say one thing Melissa- YOU ROCK!!! Your recipes are easy, cost effective and DELICIOUS!! I have four (picky little ones who have eaten and loved all of your recipes so far. This dessert is no exception- tastes great and so pretty to look at. Your show is great and I love the little tips you give for purchasing food to save money. This show is absolutely fabulous for a mother cooking for children on a budget. To the previous reviewers- why don't you try to be a little less rude and if you do not like watching the show- watch something else! Who knows- people may think you are "boring" also!

I don't eat plain yogurt, orange marmalade, or cranberries and yet, I decided to try this because everything I try from Melissa has been terrific. Once again, her recipe was a "hit"!!! Very yummy and easy(peasy to make! I think i'd like it for breakfast with a bit of granola crumbled in.
