This was amazingly simple and tasty. Patting the fish dry (I used really fresh flounder a second time prevented the fish from sticking and made a beautiful golden crust. I waited until I took the fish out of the pan to pour off all but 1-2 tsp of oil, add a little butter, lemon juice, a splash of white wine and capers and thickened the sauce with a bit of leftover dredging flour. Wow! It was great!

don't know where she's shopping but I can't find red and yellow peppers for 2/$1. Some oriental markets have the red ones for $.99/lb but they are mishapen and now suitable for stuffing.. Great for cooking but not good for stuffing. And I've never in my 48 years seen flounder at $2.99/lb. I just bought cod (which I was sure was previously frozen for $8.99/lb. Even the watermelon is going to be $4 for a small one. And not generate the amount of watermelon she had on the show. Great recipe idea but certainly not going to feed 4 people for $10. And since the show is all based on $10 meals I feel like it was very misleading.

I am not a huge fan of most fish but I think this one is definitely 5 star! It has it all: reasonble price, easy, quick, very tasty but not too fattening (I don't think! and is our new favorite way to have fish! Thanks!

This was easy and tastey! I agree that it had a lot of flavor. I've only prepared fish a few times and this was a sinch. I used salmon bc I had some frozen. I also used seasoned salt and dried parley...I don't think there was a big difference compared to the original recipe. I will def make this again!

This is a quick and easy way to prepare fish. It has a lot of flavor for such a little bit of seasoning. I'm getting quite tired, however, by the frequent complaints about pricing inaccuracy. Almost all food prices vary from area to area, as well as to seasonal availability. Be a smart shopper and buy when things are on sale, varying your menus accordingly. If the prices are too high that week, then alter your plan. Duh!

I made this just like Melissa said--with a whitefish that was on sale for $3.99/lb at the fish counter. I don't remember what it was because I had never heard of it before and can't really pronounce it. But it was AMAZING!!! I think it was better than my favorite fish and chips and so much healthier! I didn't drizzle the lemon over, because I don't love those flavors together, but this is absolutely my new favorite way to cook white fish!
