Loved these chips! My non veggie eating kid also loved them. So this is definitely a keeper. Easy to fix any time.

Yummy! I toss the leaves with olive oil, garlic salt, and a bit of grated PARMESAN CHEESE and then bake them at 300 degrees in my convection oven for 20-25 minutes. Try the Parmesan, especially if you are feeding them to skeptics!

I was pleasantly suprised at how crisp and tasty the chips turned out. I put the olive oil on my fingertips and worked a little onto each piece. Get them spread out in a single layer and don't oversalt. There were a couple of soft edges where there had been overlap. They taste great right out of the oven. I've still got to see how they taste cold. I will be making these again and maybe trying some different seasonings. Oh, and they do give off a broccoli-like smell when they bake but I didn't find it a bother.

I think kale chips are super addicting. I enjoy kale in many other forms, but the salty crunch of kale chips is so good, and you don't feel guilty eating them. Don't expect them to taste at all like regular chips...they have a sort of mineral flavor like seaweed does. I don't know if other greens would work baked, but kale is very sturdy and hardy and can take on the heat. Just delicious!

Fantastic! I joined the Food network so I could rave about this recipe. Just sea salt is good but I tried the smoky paprika, red pepper flakes and Mrs Dash. All are good. I'll be buying kale on a regular basis.

Nasty terrible horrid stinky 'things'! Like Autumn leaves baked and eaten - begs... Why would you do this? Baked Leaves? Someone on chopped got eliminated for baking seasoned spinach similarly and got elimnated - for good reason. Use a convection wall oven and the stench gets vented right at nostril level - nauseating. Bitter bitter bitter - smelly even hours after you are done crisping them. With lotsa love for cruciferous veggies like brussels sprouts, cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower - and more love for roasting them - with that nutty goodness imparted ... these disappointed in amazing and drastic ways ... I tried and tried and tried to like them - but the texture, taste, smell - and visions of America pretending to crave these - no way... simply no.

Finally made this and am pleased with the results! A great way to eat something healthy and help me with the chip cravings I always have! So much less expensive than buying them at grocery store.

Love 'em! I sprinkled 1-2 tsp of ranch (packet for ranch dips over my kale before they went in the oven and I couldn't stop eating them when I pulled them out. This is a healthy and delicious recipe, and so simple! I will definitely make this regularly. Only problem was I should have made two heads instead of one.

Needed to increase our fiber and reduce high fat foods. This really hits the spot. It was a great compromise for crispy high calorie foods. Would never eat kale before this and will now make as a great snack food. We just ate them straight out of oven. No need for dipping sauce.
