We never had kale before, but this is the way to do it! Kale is so healthful, I'm delighted to find such an easy tasty way to fix it. My son salts everything heavily - but says this doesn't need it. Thanks for the great recipe!

Excellent! So easy to make. I will definitely be making these again. I cooked them at 300 degrees because that is what some of the other recipes called for. I also cooked them closer to 25 minutes, but I have an electric oven. I will definitely make these a side dish staple.

This was just fantastic, even my anti-healthy roommate thought they were awesome (which meant I had to share. Although we did try with a light sprinkling of parmesan (which was also good, I prefer them the "regular" way :

FYI, my "health food market" had them - for about $6 a bag. I'd rather just make them myself since it's so easy.

Loved them and so did my hubby who was very skeptical. Must make sure the kale is dry and as others said would cook longer but I am hooked.

Excellent - must leave in oven long enough for them to crisp, otherwise soggy! (Needed more than 20 minutes since washed and dried kale right before preparing recipe. This will make a nice alternative to popcorn!!

Love them! It took me longer than 20 minutes to get crisp however. Maybe I did not dry the kale enough. Thanks for another great recipe!

Another Melissa d'Arabian hit! My family loves these crispy treats! I can't wait to try it with other greens as I see some of our fellow "reviewers" have done! Thanks, Melissa, for your wonderful, $$ friendly recipes. Hope you get a book published SOON! I'll buy it for myself and for my library! :

I tried this recipe, and both my husband and I really like the taste and the texture of these little chips. It is very important that the kale is thoroughly dried and that the sheet pan is not overcrowded. I let the kale "air dry" on a kitchen towel for 1 hour before baking. I then put the kale into a bowl with the olive oil and massaged it thoroughly with my hands so as to coat all surfaces of the leaves. I sprinkled the leaves with salt and spread them out on the sheet pan.....after 15 minutes at 300 degrees, I stirred them and let them bake for 5-7 minutes more.....Then I turned off the oven and cracked the door. It is important to keep an eye on the kale during the last 10 minutes of baking Take them out of the oven when they are beginning to get light and crispy. They will crisp up a bit more sitting on the counter to cool...... I will definitely make this again! Thanks for a very tasty and healthy snack!

What a wonderful crispy surprise. We just loved this recipe and the whole time I was munching on the chips, I was thinking what a great healthy veggie for kids.
I actually used a higher heat and they turned out just fine.
