YUM YUM! I wasn't sure I was going to like them... but OH my goodness I was wrong! I made sure that each piece of Kale was covered in olive oil. If you are craving some super unhealthy microwave popcorn or chips... this will do the trick. YUMMY.

Wow! I fully expected to hate these but I didn't. I baked mine at 300 degrees for 20 minutes and added salt and some grated parmasean cheese after baking. I also chose the method of putting 1 Tbsp. of olive oil in a bowl and massaging it on to each kale piece instead of drizzling. They turned out crispy and tasty. Will they make you forget about potato chips forever? Definitely not, but they are a whole heck of a lot better for you. If you are considering this recipe, I urge you to try it once. Kale is inexpensive and you may find, like me, that you like it just fine!

I had some leftover kale in the fridge that I didn't want to go bad so I thought I would give these a try. After reading all the previous posts, I decided to use the method of using my hands to apply the oil to each leaf of kale and waiting to salt until after they had baked. Many of those who posted suggested that it took only 5 or 10 minutes total to bake instead of the 20 minutes in the recipe but I kept checking every 5 minutes and they weren't really dried out until 20 minutes baking them at 275 degrees. They really shrunk up a lot. These were ok but I don't know if they were a "wow".

Kale chips are great, but they turn out different every time we make them. The most important thing seems to be not to crowd the pan. We love them with chili powder, and I don't salt until afterwards, because they seem to turn out soggy if salted. I think there are so many different responses to the recipe because every batch is unique! Definitely best with olive oil, though spray is easier and more healthful. And why else make them? Yum!

i was skeptical but i had to try, i haven't liked other kale recipes but this one surprised me a lot. i didn't have to bake them for the whole time though, not even 10 minutes and most of them were done. next time i'm going to experiment with garlic and other herbs or spices.
over all really liked, especially considering its some thing i havent liked in the past.

Love, love, love these. My six year old can't get enough. In fact, we planted Kale in our garden this year just so we can make these.
