Very yummy! I added a few sprigs of thyme to the orange concentrate mixture, it worked very well.

I felt this recipe was tasty and the whole meal filling. It was aired yesterday & I found I had to try it. My meal wasn't under $10 but close about $14. My local meat market and produce store were closed. I like spicy foods, so next time I would add a bit more spice. Someone's review stated dry chicken and monotone taste..I think if your oven heat was too high and didn't get a good sear on the chicken, I could see it drying out.As with any recipe, tweak the flavors to make your own. I did add some other seasoning beside salt and pepper to the chicken, so that may have also increased the flavor. However, I do agree that another side dish with more/different flavor was needed.

I woke up Sunday morning and watched this episode on TV...instantly I was inspired to make this for dinner. The bone-in and skin-on chicken breasts were no where to be found at the first store I went to but found it at an organic store and it was actually pricey, about $7 per chicken breast, they were huge though (1 lb. each and well worth it! Great chicken recipe, easy to make, and super tender and juicy! Will definitely make it again, perhaps a dinner party!

used chicken thighs instead. pretty yummy! was really a "bird on a budget" since i only paid $0.77 for the chicken and a dollar for the orange concentrate!

THe flavor was good, but I didn't read the recipe in full before I made it and I tried to substitute chicken thighs (not seeing it was to be sliced before being served. Overall it was a little tricky, and the sauce was a little too orangy for us. However, that's just our personal tastes...I'll thin it out next time. There WILL be a next time! Worth a try!
