    Delicious! Made this today with leftover sliced porkchop, deli ham and jar pickles. Can't wait to make the pickles from scratch, will definitely make the sandwich again, the whole family loved it!

    It was very good - I didn't have any leftover pork loin to use and they don't sell anything like that at the deli, so I tasted a few meats to substitute and came up with pastrami (just cause it tasted so darn good. The pickles were easy and delicious. I think I will use the George Foreman grill next time because I was so paranoid about burning it (my cast iron can get screaming hot very quickly, and it holds heat so well that once it's too hot, it's a done deal. Pretty tasty - I'll probably make it again when I have pork leftovers.

    Yummy! The pickles were awesome and the sandwich was easy and delish. Didn't have the pulled pork or cast iron skillets so I made it with ham and turkey. . .on the George Foreman (lol, it worked well! :- Tonight, I'll try it with ham and "pulled" chicken.

    I made this sandwich last night for dinner. It was great, although I had to make a few adjustments. First I used a Sharp Cheddar instead of the Swiss because someone at the Swiss. Second I burt one side of the French bread and had to replace it with a peice of Texas toast. In all the sandwich was very filling and the homemade pickles were wonderful.

    The pickles were way to salty for me, so next time will cut the amount of salt in half. I will also double the amount of cucumbers. It was very, very good. I will make these agian.

    Another wonderful recipe from Melissa! The pickles made this sandwich and flattening it with the cast iron skillet was great! YUM! This will be put in my weekly rotation because it is easy, the ingredients are standard and it is just plain good. The pickles are addicting. Rave reviews from our guests tonight...they wanted seconds on the sandwich. : YEA!
