You hang in there Melissa, most of these negitive comments are because those people can't cook. I'm sure boiling water is a task for them. I have tried most of your recipes so far and have had noyhing I did not enjoy.
Looking forward to your new season in January.

Hi, I loved every recipe that I've made of hers but the biscuits didn't turn out. They were dry and tough. I followed the instructions. The only thing I can think of is maybe I overworked it a ittle too much but in this case, it's really sensitive. Anybody did something different to get the moisture?

The biscuits seemed to need an adjustment, a little more moisture would have helped. I tried them twice the second time in my neighbors oven in case that was the issue.

I made these biscuit exactly the way she said and it had no taste. As I read the reviews it probably was the wheat flour. I never used wheat flour before but these things were very dry. I think maybe I need to use all purpose flour and salted butter or just use someone elses recipe.

Without a leavening agent these became tasty hockey pucks.

Excellent job Melissa! We've been rooting for you all along. The pork recipe is quite delicious all on it's own, but the biscuits launched it over the top.

These biscuits are great. My 11 y/old made them in my mini- processor/chopper. I had everything on hand as I try to use whole wheat flour for the nutrition it adds to baked goods. We followed the recipe to the letter. They were a great accompaniment to the menu from the show, which I made.

I prepared these biscuits last night in about 10 minutes. I used all white flour and salted butter and cut the ingredients together the old fashioned way, with a pastry cutter. I was careful not to overwork the dough and these little biscuits were as light as a feather! I will definitely make them again ~~ they would be great with a slice of ham for a party. Thanks, Melissa!
