I just found a printed copy of this from an old high school cooking class. And yes, I agree with "A." These are terrible. The dough is too wet. And the green onions really don't add anything. I just tried a batch, and my daughter did as well. At least give us a good recipe and some tips on making good biscuits. I'm sure that Food Network can help Melissa come up with some original, tasty, inexpensive recipes. This type of cooking doesn't "teach" viewers anything. Unfortunately, we will not be watching this show.

My boyfriend & I thought these were a winner. I modified the recipe by using all white whole wheat, subsituted the butter for Smart Balance. The reason I did this is because we're wanting to eat weally healthy by trying to avoid white flour and minimizing fats, etc. Also, I was too lazy to take out my food processor, so I followed the steps using a fork. Very simple and quick. The reader before me gave it a poor rating...I suspect if you omit the green onions, it may taste bland - you may want to consider adding something else, maybe red pepper? This is such an interchangeable recipe..it's a keeper.

This recipe is just awful - I watched some of her episodes and, she is probably a good cook but this recipe for these drop biscuits is again, awful. They are flavorless, no substance and not worth making.
I love drop biscuits and have made them from a number of recipes - this one leaves you with dough that is too wet and sticky - I did not use the green onions but followed the remainder of the recipe to the T .. will not use it again - curious to see what anyone else would think of it - people who are used to making biscuits.
