CONGRATULATIONS for winning the show!! Congratulations for this great salad! I love many of the FN Chefs and have made many of their recipes, but yours are simple and quick. Perfect for the Working Woman. 12:30 EST on Sunday is a hard time for me to watch (not good at remembering to record trying to get ready for church. Hope you/they create other shows for you to do.

Melissa looks great with her weight loss. As Anne Burrell said, Melissa is too much to watch. Melissa said 'and' so many times I wanted to pull my hair out. She over emphazied the word and uses at a segway when she has nothing more articulate to say. Melissa also appears awkward in the kitchen... I don't think the few tidbits of info she was praised for on the show translate into a series, and her recipes seem like high school home-ec. I think the Food Network missed the boat here, and I think Jeffrey would have been a better choice. Jeffrey made food romantic and was articulate in his descriptions.
Also, why is she doing a show about feeding 'four' when she has a family of six. It seems like if she sold herself as the stay at home mom cook, yet she is not representing her reality.
As for the fennal slaw.... it was okay. Her Chicken recipe from this episode again was right out of high school home-ec, it is great on fish as well.
