    This was my first time working with fennel. Don't let the licorice description turn you off it is so mild! I loved the salad and so did my kids and hubby. Thanks Melissa! I am so glad that you won!

    I, like many others, have never tried or used fennel but this slaw intrigued me and we had to try it. My entire family,including a 3 year old, loved it...there were no left overs!

    This is nothing special RR makes more flavorful versions of fennel salad.

    I took this to a picnic as a side dish and it was a hit with adults and kids! This is the 4th recipe of Melissa's that I've made and I haven't been disappointed yet. It was easy, tasty and it was nice to do something different from regular coleslaw or potato salad. Keep the great recipes coming!!!

    First time I had tried fennel. Loved the easy recipe and surprisingly tasty slaw. Melissa is so genuine she makes you want to try all her recipes, even if you have never ventured into that taste arena before!

    I tried this slaw and it was incredible!!!!!!!! I had friends over and everyone fought to take what little leftovers there were home... I kept it and it was even better the 2nd day...

    o.m.g. my grandson ate it all, less two small bowles me hubby and I got to enjoy, he said " I didn't even like cabbage slaw, what the heck!"
