Oh my gosh... the salsa in this recipe is unbelievable! Kudos to Melissa... I have actually followed many of her recipes and have absolutely loved every one of them. Flavors blend perfectly. I had never cooked with wine before! I followed Melissa all through The Next Food Network Star show and I am so glad she won. I have attempted other food network chef recipes, but none with the ease, taste and satisfaction of these. THANK YOU, MELISSA!

I loved it all, the fish, the salsa and the white beans. I loved the addition of the white wine to the beans, the fresh taste of the fish with the lime and the yummy salsa. I used crushed pineapple because I thought the consistancy worked better for the salsa. I try to watch Melissa's show every week, although I don't think her dishes really come in under $10.00. I think she has great recipes, tips and ideas!!! I have made a few of her recipes and they have all been hits!!

It's always difficult to make fish interesting during Lent. We eat it so often that my family gets bored. I thought this looked like a fun and different recipe. It was! We all LOVED the flavors! I really enjoyed the easy preparation. The only thing I will change next time (and there will be a next time! is making these into tacos not tostadas. They were just too messy. But this is a recipe that I will keep in the rotation!!

I loved this recipe...I decided to substitute the pineapple for mango...and it was delicious! I love the flavor combos here! So bright so fresh...something new that I will be making this summer!

We absolutely loved this recipe. Although it took a little longer to make than I would like, it was well worth it!! It was fairly healthy and the tastes all blended well together. We used black beans instead of the white beans and really loved it.
    Great job Melissa.

We had never had fish tostadas or tacos before. I don't like fried food so we skipped the tostada part and just made them into tacos. My family loved it and it was surprisingly filling. Great healthy meal for very little cost.

This was so good and easy to make. We didn't have any corn tortillas so I just broke apart a taco shell and ate it that way. The salsa that goes with it is so refreshing. I will be making this again. The bean recipe was very good too. I am going to try and puree next time so it sticks to the taco shell better.

After watching the show I decided to make the tostadas b/c they looked easy. It took a lot longer to make than I wanted, but the tostadas were awesome! I especially loved the pineapple & avocado salsa. I made the salsa for a party and many of my friends wanted the recipe!

I first searched Melissa's recipes for something to do with the Tilapia I had in the freezer because I loved her on the Next Food Network Star show. Although I was sceptical at first, after reading the recipe, I decided to try it anyway based on the comments. Like some of the other reviewers, my family LOVED it after I had to twist arms to try! I would definitely use the pinapple avacado salsa with other things and would also use the marinade for the fish independently. It did take me a little longer, but well worth the time! I did cheat and buy already fried tosdada shells - I find them to be less greasy and not worth the time to fry myself.
