what curious little trolls seemed to slam it with out trying it. I was careful to salt
    the tostadas right after frying.
I did use mango salso and it is excellent

I thought this was a great way to fix fish tacos. The salsa was a bit too sweet for my taste - I tried to tweak it with more jalapeno and salt - I drained but did not rinse it which may make a difference and I will leave out the honey to start next time. Love your show - keep up the great work.

I used catfish nuggets for this dish and it turned out fine. To really get the taste, you need to have the beans, fish and salsa layered, and the sour cream. I bite with all ingredients really makes it special!!! Next time I would use a whiter fish - the catfish was darker, but it had a good taste. Leftovers were put into a pan and stir fried with a few almonds. Definitely a keeper.

my family and i made this for dinner tonight. we had fun doing it together and it was something new to try on a friday during lent. i did however make my own tomato salsa because the idea of pineapple with avacado displeased my 10 year old. everything else we did by the book. it was fun and easy and relatively quick. it also tasted very good. my daughter asked me to make the beans for lunch tomorrow. my husband is not a big fish fan and he ate 4 of these tostadas. so, here i am looking for more dishes to create. and my family wants this next friday night too. i'm sold.

I made this recipe thinking of my husband and myself but, when our 2 year old saw us eating it he wanted some too. He enjoyed it so much that he helped us finish what we were eating and even ate a whole tostada by himself. I saved some time by buying tostadas all ready made and canned pineapple chunks instead of frying the the tortillas and the pineapple. This meal is delicious and tastes light and fresh. It was enjoyed by our family and we definitely will be enjoying it again...!!!

Actually the fish sandwich from BK is pretty good; especially the new Cilantro Lime one. But anyway..this is a really good recipe.

I made this last night and it was just bad. I saw the positive reviews and thought that it might be a good meal to make as it is Lent and my family traditionally does not eat meat during Lent. I made it and it was kind of a pain to make, and the flavor combinations just did not work well together. It was not worth it to make this. A frickin fish sandwich from BK would have been better.

If you want people to save money, why buy packaged corn tortillas? It takes 5 minutes to make corn tortillas, and costs about quince centavos. I'm really surprised at all the high ratings so far.
