My husband and I loved this recipe. I agree with other reviewers that the sauce was extremely lemony, and I only used one large lemon, but I made angel hair pasta to go with it and it ended up being a perfect balance since the pasta soaked up the sauce as well. I cooked the fish a bit less time than the recipe says and it turned out absolutely perfect. Super easy too.

I love veal piccata so I thought I would try this recipe. It is really good and so easy to do. The sauce over the pasta with the lemon zest was perfect. This is a definite repeat many times.

I made the fish, pasta & broccoli from this epsiode. All were excellent. A light flavorful meal. The pudding looks good too. I'll have to try that next.

A very nice recipe for a sustainable, inexpensive fish. I liked the recipe just as written but my husband thought it had too much lemon flavor. I will make it again using only one lemon and add a slice for me!

I love fish piccata and was psyched to see that Melissa had made one of my favorite dishes. I followed the recipe exactly but was sadly disappointed. Although I was VERY pleased with how the Tilapia turned out. Using the juice from two lemons (medium lemons made the sauce uneatable. It was way too tart and made my eyes water when I did the final “tasting†to see if I needed to add any more salt/pepper. I don’t know if lemons were just extra juicy or if I used the wrong size (the recipe didn’t specify size but it was a very good thing that I tasted the sauce before I ruin the perfectly cook fish filets.
I must say however that the pasta dish that accompanied the piccata was excellent. I did add a little crushed garlic to the oil along with the lemon zest and it was superb!

It was excellent!!! I had only had tilapia once before, and didn't care for it. I went to the market and the only two fish they had were salmon and tilapia!! I bought a small amount of the tilapia just to try. It was delicious!!!!
Thank you Melissa

Melissa, I was rooting for you the whole time when you were competing and I am so glad you won. This recipe is to die for. I am not a big fish eater, but I could eat this every day. Thanks for a wonderful meal.

Made this last night--it was FABULOUS!!!!!! The whole family loved it (husband, 3 kids & Grandparents! I love Piccata, and this sauce was perfect! Rivals my favorite Chicken Piccata @ Cheesecake Factory--which is $$. Next time I get a taste for Piccata, I will make it myself, as this recipe was Super Cheap, Easy and Delish!!
