I made these in popover pans well greased and preheated in a 450 degree oven for about 5 minutes. I used plain unflavored soy milk because I cannot drink cow's milk. I baked at 450 for 20 and then at 350 for 20 min. They came out incredibly puffy and delicious! I'll be getting that popover pan out more often now and want to try some herb and cheese additions to the batter. Thanks Melissa, another great recipe!

Most popover recipes fail to mention the most important thing about making popovers: The popover pan should be put in the oven and heated up before pouring in batter. This is essential go get popovers to "pop" and grow to those glorious hollow culinary treats. The hot popover cups cause the batter to instantly cook on the edge of the cup and the batter has nowhere to go but UP! I learned this after many of my popovers never popped and I talked to a chef at Mariposa restaurant in Neiman Marcus in Honolulu. So, always use a popover pan and ALWAYS HEAT THE PAN!

These popovers were wonderful. I have made Yorkshire Pudding for years at Christmas time, but these were easy and delicious.

As promised, easy, huge and delicious!!! The 35 minute cook time was shorter than other recipes, and so much quicker to make...

Amazing and so easy! Trial run for Christmas dinner to have with standing rib roast and it will be perfect! First time ever making popovers and they were huge and puffy and just right gooey.

These popovers were so easy and delicious. We have loved popovers for years. These are the easiest and foolproof of all I have made. Certainly great for young cooks with some help.

I made these on a trial run, to see if they would go with a Social Hour I'm having later this month. They were ok, I added shredded chedder & garlic powder along with the rest of the ingredients. I also made them in a mini muffin pan. I had to cut the bake time to 23 mins, becauce they were golden at that time. I will make these for my Social Hour, and just spice them up a bit. They were VERY easy to make and dosen't cost alot to make.

First run of this recipe, my family devoured in about 2 minutes!! Have made it several times since. I thought popovers were s'posed to be tricky to make, but these are yummy, quick & easy enough for my kids to make. Bringing homemade popovers to tonite's family BBQ. I'm sure I'll be sharing your recipe, Melissa, so thanks!!
