Not to much flavor, kind of bland the second time I add fresh thyme, chives ,cut the salt and add couple of TBP. of parmesan they were much better, and you only need to preheat the muffin pan for 2 min. so it dosen't burn.

These were ridiculously easy to make and came out perfectly! Another brilliant recipe here - these puffed right up and were crispy outside, fluffy and creamy inside just as promised. (I wish I could give this six stars. I made them for dinner, and they stayed perfectly puffed and warm for 40 minutes while I made the rest of the meal - that is, except for the one my husband couldn't resist eating right away! We had leftovers and they stayed puffed and tasty even for breakfast the next morning.

Advice to the few negative reviewers here: FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS exactly as written, and you'll have great results.

Seriously, Melissa, stop giving your recipes away to FN and publish a cookbook. You have the best concept on the network and your recipes ROCK!

I followed the directions, but mine stuck to the pan. I might try Pam next time. Does anyone know why this happened?

Baking has never been easy for me. I've had a lot of failures and popovers always seemed too hard to try. She made this look so easy. I saved the episode to watch again and finally tried them myself. They turned out great! My family really liked them too. Thanks!

This was my first time eating a popover, so when I tasted it, I really enjoyed it. I used a cupcake pan, they became very big. They cooked fast too! These popovers tasted like baked, slightly crispy pancakes. I love pancakes, so I loved these popovers!

I made mine in a mini muffin pan.... But they also did not rise like many of you all are saying. BUT, they taste GREAT!!!!!! I am pairing them with the broccoli chessar soup I am making for dinner. I also added garlic seasoning to them for a little added flavor...
Its a good thing I dont see a picture of Melissa's anywhere, or I might be forced to compare :

I love Melissa's recipes like this. She takes things that are hard, or that you need a skill to make and she creates it so that it is accessable to everyone. They should change her show to "the Kitchen Suvival Guide" like Alton Brown suggested because she could make so many other delcicous easy things.

These little joys are amazing! They look so impressive too! I could have eaten all 8 of them. Great for a dinner party. However, be warned, they deflate rapidly as they cool. Serve immediately. Also, Melissa said on the show not to open the oven while cooking. The necessary steam would escape and they would fall flat. So, if you need the oven to cook any other dishes with your meal, you need to consider that.

I've admitted never been a great baker, but these felt like I cheated! So easy and perfect! They were great for company because they look so professional and interesting! I loved them, and my husband did too. They were nice and rich and eggy, and perfect in the morning with jam and coffee as well! Thanks for simplifying things for us, Melissa!
