I followed the recipe but instead of steak, I used chicken and served with mash potatoes. it was a hit! The sauce itself is so easy to make and absolutely delicous! I will be making this sauce over and over and over again. This is the 2nd recipe that I've tried from Melissa...she is 2 for 2 so far. Thanks Melissa!

This looked too easy to be good - and skirt steak has never been a favorite of mine. BUT, this was a GREAT recipe. It was flavorful, tender, and did I mention easy. I fixed with mashed potatoes and a salad.. My Valentine's dinner was a hit. My husband gave it a 10.

Absolutely delicious! The carmelized onions with the sauce add so much flavor to the steak. Next time, I'll probably keep the steak in a warm oven while I finish the sauce because the meat was luke warm by the time I served the dish. I will definitely make this again!
