Easy to make, pantry item ingredients, a great vegetarian option, and features GARLIC!!! With how few ingredients are in the recipe, I did not expect the rich restaurant favor... I really liked it! I may try 2 things differently the next time - cut down on the butter cuz the sauce was a little greasy and load up on more garlic!

This Was just o.k. I halved the olive oil per the other reviews and can't imagine having used more. The sauce was definitely rich from the oil and the butter, but honestly not good enough to make again given the fat content.

Being a the-more-garlic-the-better lover, it sounded good but I didn't think there'd be enough sauce for 1 lb. of spaghetti with only using a 15 oz. can of tomatoes, but there was. Excellent mild garlic flavor! For those who commented about 'playing around with the ingredients" to make it low-fat/less garlic, this isn't something you'd eat very often because of the high fat content but, trust me, you wouldn't end up with the same wonderfully-tasting dish.

SUPER loved this dish! It was fabulous. Loved the sweetness of the garlic. Made exactly as the recipe called for. Fabulous. Even great leftover. Big fan.

NOT FOR US !!! MADE THIS EVENING & IT IS VERY GREASY. I DIDN'T PARTICULARLY CARE FOR THE TASTE THAT MUCH. PERSONALLY I'D RATHER HAVE MARINARA SAUCE. SORRY MELISSA, THIS ONE ISN'T YOUR BEST, IN MY OPINION.

I saw this recipe over the weekend and tried it the same night. I didn't have crushed tomatoes so I used diced. I didn't have fresh garlic so I used bottled minced. And I omitted the fresh basil because I didn't have any and don't really care for it. I added some dried Italian seasoning to the sauce before tossing with the noddles. My kids loved this dish because it wasn't too saucy. Will definitely be a go-to meal for our family!

Big Hit! The silky aspect that the butter provides is fabulous, now a go to family favorite! Must sprinkle parmesan on top, it adds another demention to the flavor.
