So easy, and so delicious, hard to believe I made it! Even my husband was impressed. He says that it is his new favorite.

This is the most delicious spaghetti recipe I've EVER made. I prepped the sauce last night as I was cooking dinner. Left it in the fridge overnight and made the spaghetti dinner tonight. It is WONDERFUL, I highly recommend trying this one! I think it's the butter in the sauce that gives it "the taste". Pretty rich, you couldn't eat it EVERY day. But if you want to indulge now and then.........THIS IS THE GO TO RECIPE!!

This has a perfect amount of garlic which is very flavorful
there wasn't enough tomatoes in 14 oz. and even if you used a 28 oz. can you are still using almost 1 cup of oil and butter combined, maybe cutting the amount of oil and butter in half and using more tomato, this would be perfecto!

    Melissa, I love you! :
I've watched you since THE NEXT FOOD NETWORK STAR and I was rooting for you! I think you are a fantastic chef! I love how you try to make cooking affordable but fun and delicious!

I made this for my husband and a group of friends and everyone absolutely loved it!! It was such a hit. Even to this day, friends ask me for this "secret pasta sauce" LOL

Absolutely delicious but very garlicky... but we love garlic!

Loved this!!! I used a little bit less noodles because I was afraid there wouldnt be enough sauce. Also, the cheese and basil on top is a must! soooo yummy - don't be afraid of too much garlic or oil/butter - the garlic turns sweet and mild. I will def make this again! My husband also liked it, and he isn't a huge garlic fan!

    FABULOUS - VERY - VERY GOOD !!!!!
Dear "cooking mama" there is no MILK used on the show or in the recipe. What are you talking about?
Dear sgpayne - Indiana - they DO so make cans of tomatoes less that 28 oz. - 15-16 oz. of "diced tomatoes" will do just fine - in fact that's what she used on TV - use your imagination!!!!!

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 72 YEARS I LIKE SPAGHETTI!!!!! I have made all types because my kids and grandkids love spaghetti and I normally don't eat it. I don't particularly like tomato sauce, and this one has very little -- but lots of garlic! I made it last night for my husband and myself and for the first time in my life I ate leftover spaghetti for lunch today!!!! He loved it and so did I - can't wait to make it for my grandchildren. Thank you Melissa : I didn't see on the show whether the garlic browned, but mine did and I loved the taste of browned garlic (not burnt. I didn't strain the garlic -- it gave the sauce a little crunchiness.

It's delicious!!!! I just made some for dinner and I can't stop eating it. It's easy, inexpensive and Tasty!! Thanks Melissa!! It's definitely going in my repitoire. The only thing I did different was to strain the oil and toss the garlic. Even though I slowly steeped the garlic, it started to turn bitter. But that was it...I Highly Recommend this dish!

This recipe is out-of-this world easy, and so good. Steeping the garlic in the olive oil is a wonderful technique. I added sauteed shrimp that I deglazed with a little white wine, and I used diced tomatoes (what I had. Went with 4T of butter. SO good!
