I tried all the recipes from this episode for dinner last night. It was all very good and the carrots were perfect with this menu. Easy to make and very nicely seasoned. I followed the recipe to the T. Because of a kitchen emergency (fridge died and I was moving all food to a backup in the basement I wasn't hovering over the skillet. They turned out lovely with a very light sauce or glaze. Not a heavy sugary glaze at all.

I had lots of carrots in the house and wanted something different tonight, and then I remembered something about glazed carrots from watching your show. The ingredients are ones I happen to have in the house all the time. Let me tell ya, Mellissa, you hit the nail on the head with this one, the glaze is awesome. This recipe is very simple to do too.

I made this recipe knowing that my husband has said that he does not like carrots. I had finished cooking them, and then left the room for about an hour when I got a business call. I returned to see that the skillet was empty, and there was a lone carrot bit left on his plate. To me that is the best testimony possible... and I didn't even make it to the lemon or parsley part of the recipe before they were gobbled up.

Melissa..you are a wonderful addition to
food Network...I have loved all your shows and every recipe I've made has been wonderful...I have made the North African meatballs with couscous several times and everyone loved them and the carrots were delicious. I look forward to seeing what you will be cooking every Sunday. Several people pay me to cook for them and have enjoyed your recipes too!! I love your style and especially your money saving tips.

I just finished making all three recipes from this episode and am just completely amazed. I make new recipes every day and have not had a great, flavorful meal that I cared enough to post about in, FOREVER! Not only that, but I got a 2 lb bag of carrots at Aldi this week for 39 cents, so using a little less than half of the bag, and the rest of the ingredients on hand, this side dish of carrots cost me about a quarter! Crazy insane awesome, Melissa is my new very, very favorite personality on the Food Network and I can't wait to check out every episode's recipes online (and on tv if I can get my 4 kids to let me switch the channel!

These glazed carrots were wonderful. They had so much flavor and the bright orange color looked great on the plate.
Congratulations, Melissa, on your show. I have watched every one of them and enjoy what you cook and your delightful personality.
