OMG! Who would have thought that a few simple ingredients could turn a family of carrot-despisers into carrot-lovers? I served these last night because I've been looking for recipes that might blast my family out of their vegetable rut. These little guys were a big hit at our table and will be appearing on a regular basis. I also like the fact that carrots are so inexpensive. Looking forward to more recipes like this one.

I liked this recipe, but I wished it had more depth of flavor. I think I was wanting the sauce to become tighter because all the spices were left in the watery broth mixture. Maybe next time I'll add some cornstarch? Nice recipe for a change and goes well with the North African meatballs with couscous.

I am a single mom of two busy kids and I was very excited to see Melissa's show. I made the glazed carrots and it was terrible. I am not sure what went wrong but the glaze never set. I am wondering if it has anything to do with cooking at high altitude. I would not recommend these.

These carrots were so tasty. I love the cumin in them. I made the entire menu form the 2nd episode and it was incredible. The liquid didn't completely evaporate for me to form the glaze but the flavor was perfect.

This is a simple recipe the delivers. I left out the cumin and my family thought it was great. This recipe is tasty, quick & easy, and very affordable. Keep up the good work Melissa! You do appeal the busy and working moms!

I don't especially like carrots but I thought these were very good. I will be making these again as a great change of pace from the veggies I usually serve.
NOTE: TO ALL THE STUPID, IDIOTIC, MORONIC PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT DON'T UNDERSTAND THE PURPOSE OF A REVIEW - LET ME ENLIGHTEN YOU!! MAKE THE RECIPE !!!!! THEN GIVE A REVIEW ON THE TASTE OF THE FOOD. DON'T WRITE A REVIEW BECAUSE YOU THINK IT LOOKS "YUMMY" OR BECAUSE YOU DON'T LIKE THE FORMAT OF THE SHOW --THE PERSON COOKING THE FOOD OR THAT THE RECIPE HAS BEEN SEEN ELSEWHERE. SO MANY PEOPLE ARE WRITING BAD REVIEWS ON RECIPES WITHOUT EVEN MAKING THEM, IT'S JUST INSANE......OR POSITIVE REVIEWS BECAUSE THEY THINK IT LOOKS TASTY. People rely on the reviews to judge whether or not to try these recipes. People may see a 2 or 3 star rating & not try the recipe. They might not have time to read all the reviews to realize many are written by DOLTS that are not even commenting on the taste of the food or how the recipe turned out. Positive reviews from people not having made the recipe are just as bad since people may waste money on a recipe that is horrible but received great reviews from the "I THINK IT LOOKS YUMMY CROWD" So people..... PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, COOK THE FOOD, EAT THE FOOD, REVIEW THE FOOD.
THAT'S THE INTENDED USE FOR THE REVIEWS.
