I bought Safeway pizza dough that IS a dollar and did this outside on the BQ. Was great and love the olive, red pepper and mushroom buying tip:- Thanks Melissa!

The recipe was great.. But it was way above 10 dollars and we were only 3 people eating. Melissa you have great recipes but most of your recipes are way above 10 dollars. So the best thing is to change the name of the show to a 20 dollar meal . The servings per person in your show are not realistic. A quarter of pizza is not enough for one person unless he/she is on a diet. Loved the recipe thoug and I added lots of olives to the pizza too...

We bought our canned pizza dough on sale--later I realized we can buy the fresh dough for a little over a dollar at Trader Joe's. I opened a can of mushrooms to saute with onion, rosemary, and basil. A can of black olives would be good, too. We cooked ours on a George Foreman indoor grill. We let the dough cook until it was slightly brown on both sides before adding the toppings. We then discovered that the foil stuck a bit to the cheese. On the second batch, we folded the dough over to make panini pizzas. Yummy--even with the canned mushrooms.

So easy ans sooo tasty. Love it. Forgot to say that to do it in the grill, other than tasty , is so nice instead of turning on the oven with this heat. Right now is 105 outside. So it is a big plus., and adding savings.

This is one of the only cooking shows I can count on. The recipes work EVERY time. As far as the $$ part goes, that is so dependent on the region you live in. I am a mom and love watching Melissa and using her recipes. This pizza was a hit with everyone in my family. I will use is again, SOON. Love your show, Melissa. You are REAL.

Loved the mushroom topping. You can also find fresh pizza dough in the deli/bakery section of most good grocery chains now, also Wal-Mart, Meyers, etc. They come in regular and whole wheat for just $1.29.

I didn't use the toppings but cooking the pizza on a grill is genius! I used a barbecue and dough made in a bread maker. Olive oil and cooking on one side and then flipping after you have brushed on olive oil is incredible.

I didn't use this recipe exactly but used the part about the canned pizza dough on the grill and it came out wonderful. Who would have thought you could use canned pizza dough and it would come out so much better on the grill! Everyone loved it!!

Dough $2.29 at super walmart and as far as the price of mushrooms comment, thank her for commenting, lots of new cooks out there that don't think to add it up... great recipe, daughter loves it.
