My mother always taught me to disgard all marinades. Using the marinade in the sauce just doesn't seem sanitary even if it's sauteed.

My son was so impressed with this! I was impressed with this! I'm just awfully happy with how this turned out. I'll definitely be doing it again and again.

there was no way this dish, along with the broccoli and ice cream and coffee cost ten dollars. Perhaps ten dollars per section of the dinner for a total of $30, but I found this shrimp dish cost about $15. The broccoli alone cost me $3 for the two heads, seven for the shrimp. Blame Kroger for ruining your claim, I guess.

As far as the dish, I liked the taste, although without the noodles, this dish would be forgetable. My six year old ate a few of the noodles, but it was a bit too sophisticated for his taste.

Very good for a single guy like myself-- probably better tasting as a leftover.

I made this tonight for my family and everyone loved it! The recipe is great and is a keeper for this family. I actually made it with a pound of shrimp and a pound of pasta, just to get a little more for our money. The sauce made a perfect amount to cover all of the pasta and shrimp. I also made the Roasted Broccoli with Parmesan to serve with the pasta and that recipe was amazing as well. This is now my favorite way to eat broccoli. Thank you Melissa for such wonderful recipes and ideas on how to save money in the kitchen, but not skip out on taste. You rock!

I did make a slight change to your recipe.. left out the peper... I don't like heat but if you do, I am sure it would be very good.
I added 1/2 cup of white wine before reducing then in the end added 2 tbs of capers with the butter..... YUM!!

    THANK YOU FOR A KEEPER..
    Good luck in January...

I was amazed to read the reviews on this recipe. I made it yesterday. I love lemon but the lemon is overpowering. The marinade started cooking the shrimp so they ended up tough. Butterflying them turned them into little balls. The sauce was runny. This is the second of her recipes I have tried and the first was also a disappointing.

I cook with shrimp a lot, and this is my new favorite shrimp dish. This was just phenomenal!! Tasted great with a glass of pinot grigio. A must try!

I love this pasta recipe, the flavor is delicious like if you are eating in a 5 stars restaurant."Thank you Melissa".
I don't know why Melissa's show is not in the Sunday's schedule anymore, I waited for this show last Sunday and it was replaced by other show, and I already found that she is not in schedule for this Sunday again.
I am very disappointed, because I also like to try other good cooks' recipes.
