Thank you, Melissa! I thought this was fantastic. My hubby, who does not care for shrimp much, loved it as well! So lemony and fresh. It seemed like a lot of lemon zest and garlic but it definitely wasn't! I was preoccupied with kids, so made some mistakes, but it was still fantastic! I added all of the zest to the marinade, rather than reserving the zest of one of the lemons for the final touches. I also deglazed the pan (after cooking shrimp with a little water (before adding marinade. I forgot to reserve the pasta water so I added a little white wine since I had an open bottle. Lastly, I added capers and a sprinkle of freshly grated parmesan, because I had it. Yum! I'll definitely make this again. Easy and inexpensive. ....oh, served with steamed broccoli.

Ok, that said, I love shrimp but just never tried to cook it very many ways. Melissa inspires me from the get-go. I LOVED this recipe. I cut it down for me as I am the only one out of the 3 of us left at home who likes shrimp, lemon, and garlic. So, I did my best to cut it down to about 8 shrimp--used frozen tiger shrimp. Mostly I eyeballed everything since I was making such a small batch--used 2 lemons though! LOL It was very easy to make..the shrimp stock was the best and I didn't think the pepper flakes were too hot. I didn't have fresh parsley but keep dried so I improvised which worked just fine for me.

It is DELISH..and yes, lemony! Next time I will make it straight by the recipe so I can have plenty left over for my lunches and/or to share.

To me, it is the best....but, like I said it was my first---but def. a keeper in my recipes!

This is an AWESOME recipe!! I made this for dinner last night and my boyfriend ate everything!! I love that this is a light and healthy version of shrimp scampi. Most of the other recipes I've made were either way too buttery or tasteless. This one has just the right amount of heat, butter and lots of flavor! I will be making this dish again! THANK YOU Melissa!!

The 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes added plenty of heat and the flavors were great. This was my first attempt ever at making a shirp dish and in the future I will just buy cooked shrimp because taking the shells off and de-veining took a lot longer than I thought and the lemon juice really did start to cook some of the shrimp and then they overcooked a little. I will definitely make this one again! I love Melissa's recipes!

My husband loved this recipe! It's so great to find something that he likes and I can fit it into my cooking rotation. I feel like I make the same things over and over. He said this was one of the best dishes I've made.

This was the first recipe we tried from Melissa's show.... And it was fantastic! Our family of five found something to enjoy in all aspects of this dish. Seafood, pasta and heat!! It is very spicy for little ones using the recommended measurements of red pepper, but went over well despite. My family looks forward to more of your delicious, yet economical recipes. Well done!!

Melissa, I am truly enjoying your show and record it every week. I don't have children, but I have been out of work and continue to look for ways to stretch my dollar. My two favorite things in the whole world are shrimp and pasta and
this recipe is so much better than the way I had been making it. I would like to
congratulate you on the show and hope you will be around for a long time.

We are on a tight budget. I made this for a fabulous Sunday supper along with the roasted broccoli. I bought the $4.75 a lb. 51-60 shrimp (in better days I ONLY bought JUMBO and although it took an extra 5 minutes or so to get the shrimp peeled, they were very flavorful. Melissa's show is a godsend. As I write this, I am boiling black beans for Tuesday's dinner which will be her "Beyond Pork and Beans" meal. I'll let ya'll know how it comes out...
