Yay! Meatloaf my entire family will eat! I made a few alterations to use what I had on hand. I used Italian style bread crumbs (instead of plain, turkey bacon (instead of pork and low fat yogurt (in place of the sour cream. I liked that, although the recipe called for some fattier choices of meat, a lot of the fat rendered out since I baked the meatloaf on a foil lined roasting pan INSTEAD of IN a loaf pan. I loved the tender texture of this meatloaf. I might use the "free form" meatloaf technique with other meatloaf recipes. Love the show "Ten Dollar Dinners". I also skipped the gravy...

I don't eat beef or pork so I made some changes and it still turned out wonderful! I used turkey bacon, ground turkey, and garlic chicken sausage. Followed the recipe as directed and it was a wonderful change to an everyday meatloaf.

Great new flavor experience with the bacon on top. The gravy was also delicious. Mine fell apart a bit even though I had let it rest well over 10 minutes. Love your show and recipes Melissa, thanks!

This meatloaf was very tastie although I did not apply the Mustard and Sour Cream Gravy. Only complaint that I have is that I used 2 large eggs which I think was the cause of the meat inside being a little mushie, other than that it was pretty good.

Watched the show yesterday morning looked ummm ummm good! This is a definate make again recipe. The blend of spicy sausage and beef had a great flavor. The mustard and sour cream gravy would also be good on sirloin steak.

I watched her show -- my husband and I knew exactly what we wanted for dinner.
This Meatloaf--the gravy is soo good.. along with her Twice-Baked Potatoes, and her Braised Collard Greens. Remember with the meatloaf, you can go very easy on the salt. The bacon adds salt flavor, and the gravy is very good!

I watched Melissa this morning make this, and I tried it tonight. Excellent! That mustard sauce turned an everyday meatloaf into something special. The only thing I will do different next time is make individual meatloaves as it takes forever to get the meatloaf done. I will wrap the individual meatloaves with the bacon. The potato casserole was so easy and over the top flavor. I highly recommend this for Sunday supper!!!
